Delegates can expect to be involved in discussions around the Spending Review, best practices, and the challenges of the current operating environment. The event will also offer exclusive access to a range of activities, including invite-only government roundtables, a Leadership Symposium in partnership with L&G, and networking opportunities with key figures across the housing and investment sectors.
The week will kick off with a Metro Mayoral meet, providing a chance to engage with local political leaders, and continue with a variety of delegate-only events such as drinks receptions, breakfast briefings, and access to exclusive spaces like the L&G lounge, private terrace, and garden. Keynote theatre
Ministers, senior politicians, commentators and sector experts will explore the scale and impact of the housing crisis and how we can work together to find the solutions. Keynote sessions will address the economic, political and regulatory landscape, opportunities and challenges for the sector, and keeping tenants and residents at the heart of everything we do.
Inside Housing Homes and Governance theatre
With the right policy, funding and regulation, we can do much more to invest in our communities. Facilitated by journalist and Orwell prize winning author, Pete Apps, industry experts will cover core topics including delivering on consumer standards, improving outcomes through data and technology, tackling homelessness, amplifying tenant voices and organisational culture.
New Homes and Places theatre
With the government committed to delivering 1.5 million more homes – the New Homes and Places Theatre will look at securing the investment that is needed to develop new homes and communities, and how we can build a future where high-quality, accessible, and affordable housing is a reality for all.
Specialist Housing Stream
With the rising demand for specialist housing of all kinds, the sector will play a critical role in planning, building, and adapting homes to support people to live independently, reduce loneliness, and access care and support needs. The Specialist Housing stream will explore the changing needs of housing not just for older and disabled people but for all groups of people with specialist needs.
