Planning masterclass: creating sustainable communities

This session will examine the government’s proposals outlined in the recently announced Planning White Paper and question whether and how it will enable high-quality, inclusive and sustainable design and placemaking. How can the current system deliver better outcomes? How can we drive better quality community engagement and rebuild the public’s trust? How can we address the crisis in planning skills as one of the greatest barriers to new housing delivery?
