Dudley Council was awarded £1.65million from the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to develop the region’s first Net Zero Neighbourhood to combat climate change and slash household energy use. As well as deep retrofit of social and private housing, neighbourhood-wide measures include electric vehicle street charging points, community food growing initiatives and nature-based solutions such as green roofs.
