This presentation will provide an overview of how recent and future government legislation impacts fire doorsets in housing.  It touches on the Building Safety Act 2022 and safety critical products, on the Fire Safety Act 2021 and the following Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, as well as the Future Homes and Buildings Standard 2025.  It will touch on the challenges associated with meeting the requirements; achieving compliance for both fire safety performance and energy; maintaining doorsets whilst ensuring product integrity and traceability; and finally regulatory oversight through the building safety regime.
