According to research*, one in 10 women have left work due to the impact of menopause symptoms. Despite this loss of so many experienced women from the workforce and its impact on productivity, menopause symptoms are rarely discussed in the sector.
Every one of our colleagues will at some point experience menopause or be close to somebody who is. How can we change culture and policy so that women always have the support they need to thrive at work?
This session will bring together frank and honest experiences and seek to find practical measures that organisations can take to support staff. This includes raising awareness, educating and giving colleagues access to advice on navigating the impact of menopause on their personal and work lives.
Ultimately, how can we better understand and support one another because the more we engage and talk about the menopause, the less alone women will feel.
