Residents must be front and centre of the sector’s efforts to improve building safety.
This session will explore:
- How to ensure that the voices and safety of residents are central to decision-making processes
- How to improve transparency and information sharing with residents in a useful and accessible way
- How to communicate building safety information in an accurate yet easy to understand way, particularly for neurodiverse residents or where English is not their first language
- How to involve residents in key decisions when selecting which contractors or suppliers to work with
- How to engage and support leaseholders, particularly if they are facing the burden of costly remediation works
