With the legislative requirements of BSA22 now in force, all HRB owners must have a safety case regime in place for all in-scope buildings and must be able to produce a safety case report within 28 days of notification by the Building Safety Regulator (BSR).  

RiskFlag’s digital safety case system is now in widespread use across the HRB sector. In this session the RiskFlag team will share insights and best practice gained from extensive experience of developing safety management systems and safety cases. In particular, we will be discussing the need to understand your risk picture before a credible case for safety can be presented. 

The session will draw on RiskFlag’s roots in military aviation – a sector with its own story of tragedy, public inquiry, regulatory upheaval and cultural shift – and apply lessons learned to the BSA22 challenge.
