This session will seek to better understand the lives of refugees in the UK and highlight the multiple challenges and disadvantages when trying to find stable accommodation.

We will explore the link between the UK’s asylum system and the growing levels of homelessness. What government action is needed to curtail this?

How can we adopt a strategic approach to national and local refugee settlement to truly address the crisis? This will include increasing awareness of rights and providing tailored support to help people on their journey towards stability.

Join this session to hear the practical and policy measures to properly address the refugee crisis and manage its impact on housing services.
