Constructive Thinking Studio will lead a workshop that will help develop a place-based approach to retrofit at scale.  In the workshop we will focus on the needs of residents, outlining what makes ‘place’ and how improving our housing stock can enhance lives and build resilient communities. 

We will explore challenges and opportunities inherent in different localities and present back ideas for uplifting communities through strategic stock improvement.  Three short presentations will focus on A 

archetyping of housing stock, developing retrofit strategies, and place-based sustainability.   

Participants will take away a deeper understanding of how to develop a retrofit strategy and thence clearer approach to funding applications. 

 Participants will be invited to join Constructive Thinking Studio’s research group.
