Delivering solutions that span the damp & mould and sustainability nexus, with increasing acknowledgement that they are two sides of the same coin. An energy efficient home should also be a healthy home, and provide a safe and affordable environment for the people who call it home.
We will be exploring the key issue of fuel poverty, something of primary importance after the winter of high energy bills we have just experienced. Our session will ask how we can ensure those at risk of fuel poverty are not left to deal with it alone, how we can identify those at risk, and how we can deliver appropriate and timely support to those most in need.
How do we shift to a proactive model of policymaking, as opposed to the current reactive model we currently rely on?
There’s a huge desire within the sector to improve the lives of social residents and deliver good quality and safe homes. I look forward to hearing about new solutions, successes (and lessons) from housing providers delivering on the ground, and new opportunities moving forward.
