The English Devolution White Paper sets out the government’s ambitions for devolution. Mayors will be given strong new powers over housing, planning, transport, energy, skills, employment support and more, backed up with integrated and consolidated funding. This session will look at what the English Devolution White Paper means for regeneration and housing delivery. The panel will explore devolution deals in different stages of maturity and how combined authorities, local authorities and strategic partners are working hand in hand to enable more homes, served by the necessary infrastructure.
