OMG and CIH Partnership

After many successful years of partnership Ocean Media Group, the award-winning media and events company, and the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), the professional member-body for the housing sector, have mutually decided to allow their partnership to come to a natural end at the conclusion of the current agreement in September 2023. 

The principal change will be that, from September 2023 Inside Housing will no longer be available free of charge as a CIH member benefit. We of course hope that CIH members will wish to continue to have access to Inside Housing’s award winning content through a paid subscription so please look out for further communications in the following months about this. 

HOUSING, Europe’s largest housing festival, will continue to take place in Manchester as usual featuring an exhibition and conference and will continue to be owned and run by Ocean Media Group. The only change being that, from 2024 onward, the CIH will no longer be a headline participant at the conference.

In addition to organising HOUSING, Europe’s largest housing festival, Ocean Media Group hosts more than six housing conferences annually and owns the Social Housing portfolio and HOMES UK. More recently, we have launched Unlock Net Zero Live and unlocknetzero.co.uk. The Chartered Institute of Housing will also run their own portfolio of events, including their annual conference, regional events and those in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. 

Both organisations will continue to work together where opportunities arise.
